Swimming pool

The swimming pool is a 25 m. long pool with 4 swimming lanes, and their depth is from 1.2 m. to 2 m. It is perfect for those who like to swim, exercise, have fun in the water, and teach children to swim. The water in the pool helps to relax, get rid of stress, and gain resistance to diseases. According to doctors, a person who visits the pool twice a week becomes more efficient, more energetic, does not complain of nervousness, and his blood and metabolism speed up. Water procedures in the pool help to avoid overweight problems and harden the body.

Although it is never too late to learn to swim, it is best to get the basics of swimming as early as possible. Swimming is not only an enjoyable sport, but also a necessary survival skill. Lithuanians love to spend their free time by rivers, lakes, and the Baltic Sea. And without knowing how to swim, even being near water bodies poses a risk to life that we do not think about. The World Health Organization holds the position that learning to swim should start at school age. People come to the pool not only for swimming, but also for exercise, aqua aerobics, and game activities. Young people who choose swimming training improve their swimming skills every day. Scientific research has shown that swimming has benefits for various systems of our body. Swimming strengthens the support system - the locomotor apparatus, the muscles of the whole body, and helps develop correct posture. At the same time, joints and spine are protected from excessive load, which we experience when exercising on land.

Unlike moving on land, a person swims in a horizontal position in water. Therefore, blood flows more easily through the blood vessels, improving blood circulation in the limbs. The external pressure of the water activates the activity of the circulatory system and improves the return of blood to the heart. Regular swimming strengthens the heart muscle tissue, increases its volume, and makes its work more economical. These changes in the cardiovascular system strengthen health and delay the aging process. When swimming, breathing is more difficult than under normal conditions. Water pressure makes it difficult to inhale, but promotes deep exhalation. All this stimulates the development of the respiratory system - the chest muscles strengthen, the mobility of the chest and the vital capacity of the lungs increase.
